This up-to-date, highly selective, annotated bibliography is designed to offer students and ministers the major works, significant publishers, and prominent scholars in Biblical Studies. It is a perfect guide for beginning a research project or building a ministerial library. References are included based on the following considerations: (1) usefulness for the theological interpretation of the Bible within the context of the faith of the church; (2) significance in the history of interpretation; and (3) representation of evangelical and especially evangelical Wesleyan scholarship.

Praise for this Book: "David R. Bauer’s Biblical Resources for Ministry improves, expands, and intensifies all previous [bibliographic] studies and deserves to be on the shelf of very pastor and on the syllabus of every seminary course in Bible. David Bauer, known for his love of God, love of students, and love of teaching—all three of which come to fruition in this wise, judicious, and knowledgeable resource."

—Scot McKnight, PhD, Professor of New Testament, Northern Seminary
